First Light Mission is a flexible, cooperative ministry providing an opportunity for our community to be actively involved in caring for the needs of single women and families transitioning to personal stability and permanent housing. Assembly Mennonite Church supports First Light both financially and with volunteer hours by Assembly participants. Volunteers serve food and host evenings at First Light’s shelter located in Goshen.
Assembly is assigned particular nights to serve food and host evenings.
